This activity asks you to correctly list the cocao farming process. The correct answers are as below.

  1. The ripe pods are carefully cut from the trees.
  2. The pods are broken open, and the beans are removed.
  3. The beans are covered and left to ferment.
  4. The fermented beans are left to dry.
  5. The beans are then sold to a licensed buying company (LBC).
  6. The LBC sells them on to the Ghana cocoa Board.
  7. The beans are exported by ship, in big containers.
  8. They are delivered to a chocolate factory.
